NUTRAMIL® COMPLEX PROTEIN NEUTRAL – 700 g

Olimp Nutramil® complex Protein is a high-quality food for special medical purposes, featuring a composition of essential nutrients, i.e., proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, micro- and macronutrients (including minerals in the form of highly absorbable Albion™ amino acid chelates).

It serves as a supplement to the daily diet. It contains three sources of high-quality protein with diverse absorption kinetics — whey protein concentrate, calcium caseinate, and whey protein isolate. The source of carbohydrates in the product is corn maltodextrins, which, similarly to the protein, exhibit diverse absorption rates. The source of fats consists of vegetable oils providing long-chain triglycerides (LCT) and essential fatty acids, as well as medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), which constitute an easily accessible source of energy for those who need it most, i.e., malnourished or emaciated individuals. The digestion of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) does not require lipase and bile, which is of significant importance, among others, for individuals with functional pancreatic disorders accompanied by impaired fat absorption. The product is gluten-free and low-residue (fiber-free). Clinically lactose-free.

Individuals recommended to use the product by a doctor may include those with lactose intolerance. In such cases, a significant lactose content in the product could prevent or restrict its use, which would contradict the medical recommendations. For this reason, Nutramil complex Protein is clinically lactose-free, meaning its content does not exceed 0.02 g / 100 kcal in the total daily diet, which is in line with the opinion of the EFSA Scientific Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition, and Allergies.

Olimp Nutramil® Complex Protein is a product intended for the dietary management of clinical conditions with increased protein requirements:

• In malnutrition or the risk of its development associated with illness (including oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, anorexia, extensive burns),

• In convalescence,

• In diseases that make chewing and swallowing difficult,

• In problems with independent preparation and consumption of meals,

• In short-term, severe illnesses (e.g., flu, colds accompanied by a high fever),

• In post-stroke and post-traumatic states,

• In pre- and postoperative periods,

• In inflammatory bowel diseases,

• In irritable bowel syndrome (diarrhea-predominant type),

• In partial resection of the intestines or stomach,

• In elimination diets for celiac disease and lactose intolerance (lactose < 0.02 g / 100 kcal or < 0.025 g / 100 ml of the prepared Nutramil complex Protein meal).

Dosage: Dependent on the individual energy requirements of the body. As a supplement to the daily diet, it is recommended to administer 1–3 servings per day (300–900 kcal), unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or dietitian.
