In the placebo group, the improvement of these parameters was minimal.<\/p>\n

KSM-66\u00a0\u2013 increases lean body mass and accelerates post-exercise regeneration<\/p>\n

The effectiveness of\u00a0KSM-66\u00a0in this aspect was studied in a\u00a0randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial whose participants were 50\u00a0young men who regularly did strength exercises\u00a0(3). They were divided into two groups. The first group (n=25) took a placebo, while the other group (n=25) took 300mg of\u00a0KSM-66\u00a0two times a\u00a0day for eight weeks.<\/p>\n

Taking KSM-66 significantly improved the strength and size of the muscles, and decreased the amount of fat tissue\u00a0(Fig. 3, 4, 5), it also accelerated the rate of post-exercise regeneration assessed on the basis of the decrease in the level of creatine kinase\u00a0(CK) in the bloodstream\u00a0\u2013 an enzyme found in the muscles whose level in the bloodstream rises during illnesses related to muscle damage.<\/p>\n

KSM-66\u00a0\u2013 lowers cortisol and stress levels<\/p>\n

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial on 64 people showed that\u00a0KSM-66\u00a0safely and effectively improves resistance to stress, and thus increases one’s quality of life. The effectiveness of use for\u00a0KSM-66\u00a0was conducted after 60\u00a0days of supplementation with 300mg amounts taken two times a\u00a0day (4).
\nThe supplementation with KSM-66 for 60\u00a0days caused a 44% reduction in the level of stress assessed with the use of the\u00a0PSS (Perceived Stress Scale) questionnaire\u00a0and\u00a0the reduced number of points obtained in the GHQ-28 test, which is proof of the improvement of psychological health.\u00a0The final questionnaire was the DASS questionnaire, namely the scale of depression, anxiety, and stress.\u00a0In the group taking\u00a0KSM-66 the results obtained for each of these components showed a reduction.
\nThe influence of\u00a0KSM-66\u00a0on the level of cortisol was also studied. The two groups had a\u00a0similar initial level of cortisol.\u00a0After \u00a060 days of taking KSM-66, the reduction of cortisol was\u00a027.9% in one group, while in the placebo group the reduction was only 7.9% 4\u00a0(Fig. 6).<\/p>\n

DAA\u00a0\u2013\u00a0clinically tested D-aspartic acid\u00a0which naturally occurs in our endocrine cells, adrenal glands, pancreas, thyroid, parathyroid and largely in the pituitary gland and testes.
