The source of carbohydrates in the product is corn maltodextrins, which, similarly to the protein, exhibit diverse absorption rates. The source of fats consists of vegetable oils providing long-chain triglycerides (LCT) and essential fatty acids, as well as medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), which constitute an easily accessible source of energy for those who need it most, i.e., malnourished or emaciated individuals. The digestion of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) does not require lipase and bile, which is of significant importance, among others, for individuals with functional pancreatic disorders accompanied by impaired fat absorption. The product is gluten-free and low-residue (fiber-free).
