Niet zonder reden \u2013 dit type training levert indrukwekkende resultaten op, zowel voor vetverbranding als voor het verbeteren van de conditie. Bij HIIT worden korte periodes van maximale inspanning afgewisseld met korte rustmomenten of lichte activiteit.
