ERYTRYTOL is attributed to polyols, i.e. polyhydroxy (sugar) alcohols. It is produced in the process of natural fermentation. It occurs in vegetables, fruits (eg grapes, pears), mushrooms, seaweed or wine.

He is considered one of the healthiest sweeteners. He deserves this name for his name: it is not metabolized by the human body (we excrete it in the urine). It does not adversely affect your health. Eating erythritol instead of sugar leads to a smaller increase in the level of glucose in the blood. It helps to maintain tooth mineralization. It has no energy value and can be used in low-calorie diets and sugar-free diets.

Its sweetness is equivalent to 60-70% sweetness of sucrose. In addition, this sweetener produces a pleasant feeling of coolness in the mouth. You can sweeten everything literally – from coffee, ending with homemade cakes. In addition, unlike other substances of this type, it does not leave foreign aftertaste. Recommended for slimming people, caring for the figure and diabetics.

Allnutririon erythritol – how many kcal does it have?

According to the calorie tables, erythritol has very few kcal per gram of product. We are talking about a range of 0.2 to 0.4 kcal. Compared to sugar, this value is therefore several times lower. It is worth adding that, despite its kcal content, erythritol does not provide any empty calories to cells in the human body. This is because our body is unable to digest it, which means that erythritol is not metabolised and is excreted in the urine. It is no wonder, therefore, that it is referred to as a ‘calorie-free sugar’, which is readily used by people who are losing weight, as well as athletes and diabetics.

Is erythritol safe for health?

All the products in our range are certified, which means that their manufacturers must ensure that they comply with strict industry standards. Without the appropriate testing, food and sports nutrition products cannot be approved for sale and sale to the general public. As far as the use of erythritol itself is concerned, it is worth noting that for years it has been added to a variety of foodstuffs that all of us reach for. This sugar substitute can be found in zero-calorie snacks and drinks. In addition, it is an additive in sugar-free sweets or certain medicines. Can erythritol therefore be considered a healthy product?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has officially recognised erythritol as a substance that is completely safe for human health. Studies show that, with a glycaemic index of zero, it does not increase blood sugar levels and this makes it suitable for consumption by people with diabetes or insulin resistance. In addition, erythritol is a sweetener that inhibits the fermentation of certain sugars by bacteria in the mouth – it helps to reduce the development of tooth decay! It can be used by adults, seniors and children without the risk of side effects.
